2018-2019 Speaker Bios

Tracy Rebstock – January 2019

Tracy Rebstock has been working at  Washington State Archives since 2011, first as a student intern at the Digital Archives, then as a temporary employee at the Digital Archives and Eastern Regional Branch, then to Olympia in 2013 as Southwest Regional Archivist. Currently she oversees state and local acquisitions and research at the Olympia Branch.

Cynthia Jones – November 2018

Cynthia Jones, ERMm, ECMs, BPMp, CDIA+, is an ECM Architect and at the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions. She has 15+ years of experience in the planning, designing and deploying complex enterprise content management systems. She serves as a subject matter expert for the State of Washington and was a member in the WA State ECM Information Governance Initiative. She is currently rolling out an enterprise-wide ECM at DFI. The project includes the migration of records, data and the file share to their new ECM.

Matt Dreese

Matt Dreese is an Enterprise Account Executive for Smarsh out of Portland, Oregon, with extensive experience working with local, state and federal agencies throughout the Western  United States.

Catherine Wilson

Catherine Wilson has been an Information Governance and RIM professional for over 20 years. Currently she is the Corporate Records Manager for Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance Company and developed the RIM program in its entirety. Previously, Catherine was the Global Records Manager for Hewlett-Packard Company. Catherine has been an ARMA member since 1998 and served on the Board of Greater Sacramento Capitol ARMA Chapter as Program Director, Secretary and Membership Committee Chair.  She is now an active member of the Puget Sound Chapter and served as President, Vice President and Program Director.  Catherine is a Certified Records Manager (CRM) is ECMP certified and working towards her IGP.

Thom Whittemore – May 2018

Thom Whittemore is a Principal with Iron Mountain Advisory Services and has more than 13 years of experience in the field of records management. Working with clients in the private and public sectors throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and other countries, Thom has developed compliant Records and Information Management Programs across a variety of industries and companies. His work includes policy and records retention schedule development, global program development, information governance consulting, and privacy compliance solutions

Andrea Bettger – March 2018

Andrea Bettger has been a Records Analyst with City of Seattle since 2002. She had previous archives and records management experience with Oregon Historical Society, Lummi Indian Business Council, and City of Portland. Bettger is a very active member of the ARMA, International, she is currently serving as the president of the Greater Seattle Chapter. Bettger has a Bachelor of Arts in history from Portland State University, and Masters in history with emphasis in Archives and Records Management from Western Washington University.

Ryan Wadleigh – February 2018

Ryan Wadleigh is a records manager for King County, the 13th largest county in the country by population. He worked for 6 years at the King County Archives, followed by 4 years as a Records Analyst for the county’s Records Management Program. He is currently working as a Training Coordinator for the project to migrate the county’s records management system to an enterprise content management system. Ryan received his Master of Archives and Administration (MARA) degree from San Jose State University in 2013.
