A heads up Puget Sound Chapter members: It is very important to check your ARMA.org online profile to make sure everything is up to date! Please take a few minutes this week to create an account at arma.org (if you don’t already have one) and view/update your profile.
Did you know…
- You can use an existing account (LinkedIn or Facebook) to sign in – that is one fewer username!
- Decide which profile information is visible to all ARMA members and what is private.
- Use ARMA social link to send direct messages to any ARMA member.
- Find Chapter info and ‘members only’ resources – great when that email got buried or deleted.
ARMA International and our chapter rely on the accuracy of this information to communicate important information – not only membership information, but also news about the industry and upcoming events.
If you have changed employers, got a new email address, or want to change your professional info or contact visibility, now’s a great time. Your profile is especially important when ARMA sends membership renewals. Our chapter can also send notifications to members through the ARMA social site. It’s a nice way for members to keep their Chapter messages separate from their home or work computers. It’s also easier (if, like me, you get tons of email in general) to find ARMA-related messages when you need them by checking your arma.org inbox.
