What is the AIEF?
The AIEF is an education and research funding resource, an affiliate of ARMA International.  The Foundation was established in 1997 to define the future of records and information management by funding educational opportunities and research initiatives.

Benefits of Supporting the AIEF
The Foundation relies on donation and/or sponsorship.  The AIEF feels that any donation, or sponsorship of a project, is an investment in the future of the Records and Information Management industry.  By contributing to the Foundation, it is a contribution to the stability of the RIM profession.  The Foundation and you, the donor, will then be able to have an impact in the future of the RIM profession, supporting leading edge/critical projects on education and/or academic research while preserving the legacy.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of fellow RIM practitioners, who face the same issues and challenges that are encountered by all RIM professionals in day to day business dealings.  The Trustees are interested in the longevity of the industry and continually assess what needs to be done to educate and enlighten the RIM Profession in its issues.  This on-going assessment enables the industry to grow and move forward, as well as facilitating understanding of our problems and to assist in identifying the future educational requirements for us all.

To continue this valuable work, the Foundation needs YOU!  It is your contributions that make this growth and these educational opportunities happen through building the Endowment!
