RIM Training for the Masses: Classroom to Online
Description: A robust Records and Information Management Program provides regular training sessions to employees. Moving training materials to the online environment faces unique challenges and issues. You will hear from the Seattle’s City Records Management Program and how they are moving classroom presentations to the online environment. Found out all the tips, tricks and hiccups of the online training process.
Speaker: Andrea Bettger has been a Records Analyst with City of Seattle since 2002. She had previous archives and records management experience with Oregon Historical Society, Lummi Indian Business Council, and City of Portland. Bettger is a very active member of the ARMA, International, she is currently serving as the president of the Greater Seattle Chapter. Bettger has a Bachelor of Arts in history from Portland State University, and Masters in history with emphasis in Archives and Records Management from Western Washington University.
