Program Title: Creating a “SPACE” for Remote Work

Description:  Are you ready to make “SPACE” for remote work?  In this tag-team presentation Ember Krumwied, CRM, and Eileen Harke, CRM will share their tips for creating a productive and safe space at home to support remote work.  Ember and Eileen have more than twelve years combined working as remote employees and will share concepts to get your transition to remote work moving in the right direction and will offer some best practices for creating an ergonomically sound work space in your home.

Eileen Harke, CRM, currently works as a Government Information Specialist with the US Forest Service in Washington DC, with a remote office in Olympia, WA.  She spent the previous 23 years as a Records Manager and FOIA Specialist for the US Fish and Wildlife Service.  Her “additional duty” was serving as the Safety Officer where she implemented a comprehensive Ergonomic Program for three offices in Washington State.

Ember D. Krumwied, CRM is a 20+ year member of ARMA International and a Certified Records Manager since 2005.  She is currently the Corporate Records Manager/Paralegal for Investco L.L.C., a Real Estate Development and Financial Management Company based in Sumner, WA.  Starting that position in 2006, she has now spent the last 6 years working remotely from her home in Omaha, NE.  She has supported ARMA International by holding various Chapter Board and Region positions for both the Great Northwest Region and the Midwest Rocky Mountain Region.
